Slate Theater is an open and flexible theater. It is located in Seattle's historic Inscape Arts building. Slate can be used as a setting for many different types of events including theatrical productions, workshops, screenings, rehearsals, fundraisers, and private events.

Submit a rental inquiry form that has all of the event information to help us provide you the most accurate pricing and determine if we have available dates for your event.
We will then contact you after reviewing our schedule to discuss what type of equipment or services are needed for your event.
After discussing your event needs, we will send you a package of rental information and venue details, as well as instructions on how to complete your booking.
You can secure your rental dates by completing the necessary paperwork and paying the required deposit. Once this is completed, we can assist you in planning the rest of your event at The Slate.
The Slate is open to hosting various theatrical productions, comedy acts, workshops, film or video screening, rehearsal space, community events, corporate meetings or presentations, and also private functions.
We encourage all inquiries as early as possible so that we can reserve your desired date(s) and work out an arrangement with regard to availability.
Recurring performances, workshop series, etc. will be considered subject to the venues availability of scheduling.
