Located on Seattle's South-of-Downtown (SoDo) side of town, The Slate Theater is housed within Seattle's well-known Historic Inscape Arts Building. This SoDo area of town provides easy access to downtown Seattle via automobile, public transit, ride-sharing service and light rail.

The Slate Theater, located in Seattle's SoDo District, surrounds itself with artists, galleries, studios, and creative ventures that bring the area to life. The Slate Theater is nestled inside of the Inscape Arts Building which has been a part of Seattle's thriving art scene since its early days as a historical landmark; it was one of the first buildings to support what would be known today as the arts community.
The slate theater is just minutes away from the interstate highways of i-5 and i-90 as well as the main roads of Seattle. It will be easy for people in the entire puget sound region to visit the theater.
The theater is very close to the International District/Chinatown Link Light Rail Station. This makes it an excellent option for anyone coming into Seattle or visiting from Bellevue, sea-tac airport, or other communities around the puget sound.
There are several king county metro bus lines that service the area immediately outside the slate theatre. Visitors may also use these buses to reach the theatre from their destination.
